Një oficer në lirim ankohet tek Doktori
për Imamin
Unë që po të shkruaj jam një oficer në lirim. Para disa kohësh, Arben Imami më komunikoi lirimin nga Forcat e Armatosura. Arsyeja fshihet tek njohjet e mia të vjetra me Imamin.
Në mars të vitit 1997, isha oficer në Grehot në Gjirokastër. Filluan trazirat dhe u thashë shokëve të mobilizohemi të ruajmë divizionin se do bien armët në duar të njerëzve. Ashtu bëmë. Një ditë na erdhi Imami dhe na kërkoi takim. Ishte bërë komandant i protestuesve.
-Sa tanke keni, tha, se na duhet të ecim drejt Tiranës.
-Kemi nja 5 copë, i thashë, por deri në Tiranë nuk shkojnë dot, duan tre muaj.
-Mos ngjall pesimizëm, më tha, se është luftë dhe në luftë pesimistët pushkatohen.
Unë nuk fola më. Morën dy nga pesë tanket dhe rrugës për Gjirokastër i rrëzuan duke vrarë dhe një tankist amator...
